Virtual mode placement
drive
I would like to suggest some important points or guidelines for the Placement Coordinator/Placement Officer/Placement Representatives for smooth conduct of the online / virtual placement drive.
1.
Formal invitation to be sent to the
companies with Brochure attached from official email ID
2.
After the response of the company
mail, collect the database based on the eligibility criteria set by the
company. POC’s shall send the database to official mail and then to the company
3.
Schedule dates/ timing for
PrePlacement Talk (PPT), online test (Coding round, Aptitude test,
Communication test), GD, Technical Interview (Zoom, Google meet, Webex or
Microsoft teams like online platforms), General Hr Interview
4.
Once the Schedule is confirmed, Be
prepared with Laptop for taking the online tests and Interview
5.
Some things to be checked before
online tests and interviews are:
1) Install
online platforms mentioned by the company like google meet, zoom, Microsoft teams, webex, skype
etc day prior to the interview
2) Candidates must be ready with computer/laptop with a
functioning web-cam (external or built-in), microphone and continuous
internet connectivity with sufficient bandwidth and balance for the whole
duration
3)
Candidates
must select a place with ample lighting to ensure that their image is clearly
captured
4)
Keep your
resumes/CV ready. In case of any important company, edit them according to the
requirement and role provided by the company. Resumes/CVs may be asked either
in advance or after shortlist.
5)
POC’s and PR’s must check regularly mails and
keep students updated
6)
In case of any problem in student’s side, PR’s
can inform the POC. POC must compile all the problem and inform to Placement
officer(PO) or any other means mentioned by the company (For eg: Company may
provide mail id or phone number to address problems)
6.
After the announcement of the
results, documents (resumes, bonafide or any other requested by the company)
have to be sent
7.
Dual placements are allowed as per
the norms mentioned above
