my previous blog, I have discussed about HackerRank an online coding platform and the job
opportunity.
In this blog, I would like to share
about HackerEarth which is also an online coding platform for Programmers. It
is a good platform for practicing to solve problem statements for Programmers
HackerEarth conducts a number of
hiring challenges and Hackathons. It also provides tutorial sessions on topics
such as Java, Python, Algorithms, Mathematics, C++, Data structures, .. and so on
Each user or coder can score by
taking tests or participating the
contests and will be rated or ranked based on the difficulty level. Candidate’s rank
is available in the leadboard.
HackerEarth assessments also gives the
Code quality based on the key performance metrics : maintainability, reliability, security and complexity of the
code. These metrics are based on whether the code is easy to maintain, modify,
secure, efficient, optimized, and free from bugs or defects or logic flaws, any
violations during the coding.
Job Opportunity

HackerEarth conducts coding challenges for different
companies in recruitment of (hiring) students.

Candidates can participate as many hiring challenges as
possible. Upon selection, the students may be invited from recruiter for further
rounds (interview). The final shortlist may be offered either internship or job

Top ranker can also be called direct call for an interview
from Recruiter

The interview will be based on your performance only,
irrespective of the institutions, marks and so on.

Companies organize Hackathons where the candidate can
participate and win. The winner will be
called for interview.
Practicing the coding challenges and participation in Hackathons will
really improve your problem solving skills in limited time which may finally
land up a candidate in high profile job.
If you (fresher or experienced) are really good in coding, chances of
getting a job is very bright.
